This master craftsman specialises in recycling parts of cars, motorbikes and other machines, which he uses to stimulate his creativity and transform them into stunning works of art.
The artist meticulously collects raw materials from workshops and scrap merchants, who supply him with used mechanical components. These components undergo a meticulous process, first removing oil and rust through specialised treatment, then carefully sorted into bins according to their shape.
It’s in the creation phase that the magic happens. Inspired by his own imagination, his customers’ ideas or special orders, the artist gives new life to these discarded pieces. With an expert hand, the artist cuts, welds and shapes the components, orchestrating them like a jigsaw puzzle, going back and forth until the desired masterpiece emerges.
Each creation is a testament to the artist’s vision and skill, highlighting not only the beauty of the reused materials, but also the limitless possibilities of creativity. From sculptures to functional art pieces, each work embodies a unique story, reflecting the artist’s passion for recycling and his commitment to transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.

The journey of António Silva, a welding artist, began with a youthful idea that blossomed into a true passion.
Starting his career as a welder in the automotive sector during his teenage years, António Silva was captivated by the shape and beauty of many mechanical components destined for the scrap heap. It was during this time that the seed of an idea was planted – the desire to recycle this material into artistic creations.
Although António Silva pursued other career paths beyond the automotive industry, the call of his heart remained strong. Over the years, the desire to give a second life to materials destined to disappear never waned.
In 2018, seizing the opportunity to fully dedicate himself to this art and craft recycling project, António Silva embarked on a project of creativity and innovation.
His journey began at local arts and crafts markets, where he showcased his creations to the public. The response was overwhelmingly positive, igniting the spark that fueled his passion even further.
