The artist’s work is an ode to dreams, fantasy and the world of the imagination.

This masterful fusion of social critique and celebration of childhood innocence awakens a whirlwind of emotions. As we contemplate these fairytale tableaux, we are transported to a parallel universe where nostalgia, wonder and a touch of melancholy mingle. Each meticulously orchestrated detail awakens buried memories, rekindling our ability to dream and imagine worlds where anything is possible. In short, this artist’s work is much more than just an exhibition of images. WESLEY SACARDI

Wesley Sacardi was born in August 1981. He defines himself as an eternal apprentice of the world who is passionate about free creativity and takes immense pleasure in sharing knowledge.

He began and established his artistic career in 2016, when he left his academic training in Social Communication to produce and create solid wood pieces in different states.

This change was a milestone in the recovery of her origins of free creativity “out of the box”, where she found the way to explore various forms of creation with wood.

Observing nature, architectural projects and different styles such as Nordic, wabi sabi, boho and rustic are his main references and inspirations, which allows for a certain creative fusion in the production process.

As well as using discarded wood, she works with new raw materials that are often only used by industry, producing pieces of furniture and decoration with an artistic identity.

In 2021, in the midst of creative chaos, the never-ending collection Série Descartes was born, named after the raw material, with unique pieces of furniture, decoration and accessories.

Descartes Series, beyond raw materials.

From the discomfort of discarded wood in the midst of the creative chaos of 2021 comes the endless collection called Série Descartes além da matéria prima.

The series is made up of unique pieces produced with waste wood from different locations, and the result is furniture and accessories in non-standard visual formats.

The inspiration for the creative process of the Descrates Series comes from the discomfort of discarding materials. This discomfort gives us the freedom to add movement to the pieces, as the use of different types of wood challenges us to find a balance between design and the rough.

The choice of stools and chairs to make up the majority of the pieces in the Descrates Series is due to the fact that they are pieces that you naturally share with other people in the space. In this way, each piece manages to establish a communication relationship with the public, who share the experience and share feelings about the observation.

The entire process of the Descartes Series creative line, from rescuing the wood to planning the production, results in pieces that are unique in shape, texture, natural state and history.

The aim of each piece in the Descartes Series is to invite people to question the possibility of use at first, and then to settle in, which naturally reflects in unconscious discomfort about use.

Tiny Art by Aderita,

According to Aderita, art should be able to fit into any space. The artist has used a variety of techniques to capture the essence of this sacred plant, ranging from watercolours to acrylics and other natural pigments. In it  small size, these works of art exude a powerful visual presence, inviting contemplation and meditation. Imperial anil, also known as indigo blue, is a plant widely used in spiritual and medicinal practices around the world. Renowned for its ability to eliminate negative energies and promote mental clarity, imperial anil is the central element of these works.

The imperial anil miniatures presented here are more than works of art; they are tools for cultivating tranquillity and harmony in your daily life. Their small size makes them accessible to everyone, offering a visual refuge in an often hectic world. These works are a perfect choice to uplift the soul and nourish the spirit.
