Ricardo António do Carmo Inácio Born in Almancil (Loulé) in 1968, Ricardo Inácio is an artist, illustrator and tile master. Throughout his career, he has taken part in various group and solo exhibitions in Portugal, Spain, Gibraltar and Germany. In 2008, he was awarded second prize in the Martins Leal painting competition, on the theme of the 200th anniversary of the Restoration of Olhão (1898 – 2008), with his work “Mar meu” (My sea). In recent years, he has developed various urban art projects, having created the first urban art mural in Almancil. Also in Almancil, in 2015, he created the community brand “Poço D’Almancil” and the sculptural piece based on that logo. In 2016, he created a tiled memorial in honour of the Combatants in the city of Loulé and received the diploma of institutional merit for art and culture from the Parish Council. In 2024, the monumental urban fresco in Albufeira, Jardim Doutor Frutuosa da Silva, facing the sea.
